OUR BELIEFS
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three Persons – the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
When He had been baptized, Jesus came up immediately from the water; and behold, the heavens were opened to Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting upon Him. And suddenly a voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” Matthew 3:16-17
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in their original manuscripts and are the infallible rule of faith and practice.
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. II Timothy 3:16-17
We believe that God is the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and of every basic form of life.
In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Genesis 1:1
We believe in the fall and total depravity of man.
Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned. Romans 5:12
We believe that Jesus Christ is the only way man can be saved from the eternal wrath to come.
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
We believe in eternal salvation for all who have been born again through faith in Jesus Christ.
And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He who has the Son has life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. 1 John 5:11-12
We believe in the unity of all true believers in the body of Christ regardless of race, creed, color, or origin.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28
We believe the local church is a company of Spirit-baptized believers, independent and self-governing.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last,” and, “What you see, write in a book and send it to the seven churches…” Revelation 1:11
